Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Hanoi arrival
Our tour guide will meet and greet us upon arrival at the Noi Bai International Airport and take us to the hotel for check-in. Hanoi - the capital of Vietnam, is a graceful city located on the banks of the Red River along with a tranquil Restored Sword Lake at the heart of it. North of the lake lies the bustling streets of the Old Quarter. The city was widely transformed by the French when it became a French protectorate in the 1880s. There are wide boulevards and large colonial buildings which now serve as home to the government departments and foreign embassies.

Day 02 : Hanoi City Tour
After breakfast today we take a full day city tour to visit the fascinating sites like Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on every Monday, Friday morning and every afternoon), the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Hanoi Hilton Museum and the Ethnology Museum with its fascinating exhibitions about the diverse hill tribes in Vietnam. We then take an hour cycle ride through Hanoi's Old Quarters to experience the daily life of people who live in the oldest parts of the city.

Day 03 : Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
We depart for Ha Long Bay going through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is indeed one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. We embark on an exciting cruise which provides us with fantastic views of the sublime scenery of some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear emerald waters blending in with the pristine blue skies. The limestone karsts formations litter along the beaches, grottoes and majestic caves.

Day 04 : Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
Breakfast is served on board as we continue cruising around the bay. We take a sampan to visit the Luon Cave and come back to the boat. We have our brunch before disembarking. We are then transferred back to the Noi Bai Airport for a flight to Hue.

Day 05 : Hue Tour
Modeled after the Forbidden City of Peiking and constructed in the early 19th century at the heart of Hue is a vast complex of the Imperial Citadel. We approach the city past a giant Vietnamese Flag waving proudly overhead the striking Flag Tower facing the remarkable Ngo Mon Gate which serves as the principal entrance to the Imperial City. We enter into a spacious courtyard with a serene Lotus Pond, we visit the Dien Tho Palace where the Queen Mother lived, the Thai Hoa Palace with magnificently decorated reception hall- the Hall of The Mandarins, and the original Nine Dynastic Urns, amongst additional site.
We then enjoy a leisurely boat ride, down the Perfume River, stopping first at the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's most widely recognizable monuments is an elegant seven-tiered octagonal shaped tower. We continue cruising along the river into the countryside to the Imperial Tombs of Minh Mang & Tu Duc, a majestic complex of courtyards, pavilions, and temples in a beautiful natural setting. Later, we are free at leisure for shopping in the Dong Ba market.

Day 06 : Hue to Da Nang - Hoi An
Today morning we drive to Hoi An, we cross the Hai Van Pass where we will have magnificent views of the sea. We stop at Lang Co to have a break. We then reach Hoi An, known as 'Faifo' to the early Western traders, it served as one of South East Asia's major international ports and that unique old-world feel is still retained by it today.

Option 1: Cooking class at the Red Bridge: - SIC tour, sharing cooking class with other groups.
Red Bridge Half Day Cooking Experience:
We begin our day at around 8.15am with a drink at Hai Scout Café – our meeting point. We visit Hoi An's colorful main market and experience its amazing sights, sounds, and aromas. We can interact with the local sellers and taste the incredible variety of foods on display.
We then board a leisurely cruise, the Red Bridge boat along the beautiful Hoi An River to get to the Red Bridge Cooking School. We make sure our camera is handy as we have an opportunity to view local river lifestyle.
On arrival, before learning about some of Hoi An's and Vietnam's well-known dishes, we explore the cooking school's herb and vegetable garden. The Red Bridge chef demonstrates each dish before we prepare them ourselves. The cooking lesson runs approximately for about 2 hours which includes a brief introduction to Vietnamese plate decorum. We later eat the food that we prepared ourselves.

We finish at approximately 1 p.m. and then transfer back to central Hoi An.

Option 2: Thu Bon River – Sunset river cruise
Enjoy the sunset river cruise, experience paddling the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat. Witness the daily ritual of the local Hoi An fishing fleet putting out to the Cua Dai Sea.
Option 3: My Son Tour
We travel over the Hai Van pass to get to the ruins at the My Son Holy Land, considered to be one of the best preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. The site is a must-see for visitors interested in architecture and ancient civilization.

Day 07 : Hoi An
This morning we walk to a Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda. The Japanese community of Hoi An constructed the first bridge on this site in 1593 which links the town to the Chinese quarters that lie across the stream. Constructed about 200 years ago with donations from the family members of the Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall, the Sa Huynh Museum, Tran Family Chapter, is a typical exemplary structure the Chinese clans built in the Hoi An area. The primary use of this house is for worshipping the ancestors. We end our visit with a stop at a Lantern workshop.

Day 08 : Free day in Hoi An
Today we are free at our leisure, and we can explore the city on our own.

Day 09 : Hoi An – Saigon
We are transferred to the Da Nang airport for a morning flight to Saigon. Today we take a cycle tour to visit all the exciting sites and landmarks in Saigon City. We first stop at the Notre Dame Catholic Cathedral and a Post Office nearby. We then proceed to see the Reunification Palace, formerly the Presidential Palace governed by the US-pro government of the Republic of Vietnam. Lastly, we visit the War Remnants Museum, which primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War.

Day 10 : Saigon to Cai Be– Can Tho
We leave Saigon for a 3-hour drive to Cai Be, we then board a motorized boat to visit the local manufactories who make popcorn cake and rice paper before visiting the lively floating market of Cai Be. In the afternoon, we embark upon to enjoy the peaceful settings of the country life. We can stop en route to learn more about the fruit-bearing trees along our path. We then continue driving towards Can Tho for overnight.

Day 11 : Can Tho to Saigon
We board a 3-hour cruise in the early morning to Cai Rang and Phong Dien, two big floating markets. We make a brief stop at the Bun Tau noodle factory and a short hike before arriving at a rice-husking mill. We discover a typical way of displaying and advertising locally sourced products where the local people gather on the Mekong River to trade their goods. We then drive back to Saigon.

Day 12 : Saigon Departure
On this day, we are free at leisure. Later we are transferred to the Tan Son Nhat Airport for our final departure flight.

Important Notes
Our rate is quoted in US dollars per adults based on double room and applied for private tour. Cruises in Ha Long Bay do not supply triple cabin, only mattress for children below 12 years old. Availability: Please note that if a certain hotel is not available at the time of booking, then we will gladly make alternative suggestions in the same category. We will advise you accordingly with the surcharge if any. As a result, we would highly appreciate it if you could advise us to block rooms soonest possible to guarantee the rooms and rates in period of high and peak season. All the above points of interest are open for visit based on current updates. In case of closure for construction or any other reason, we will replace with a similar point of interest. Above itinerary is based on the current flight schedule. In case of flight changes, the itinerary will be changed accordingly. Check in time: at the hotel: after 14 p.m. – on a cruise: before 12 p.m. at noon. Check out at the hotel and on a cruise: before 12 p.m. at noon. The itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, road condition, flight, type of class and operating conditions.
