From Hanoi, we drive to the unique Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful landscapes in Southeast Asia. As we drive through the bay, we can enjoy the fantastic blue skies, pristine emerald green water and thousands of limestone cliffs.
Overnight on a cruise. As we continue our tour of the bay, we will be served breakfast on board. We then climb a sampan, small boat, to visit the Luon Cave. After returning on board and a sumptuous brunch, we return to Hanoi via Hanoi Railway Station and get on a night train to Hue.

Overnight in Hue.Our trip commences at a local cafe with a Vietnamese coffee or fresh juice, where our tour guide will meet with us as we prepare to walk the beaten paths of Hue. A commune house will be our first stop, where we get a glimpse of the Vietnamese culture, traditions and the responsibilities that are prevalent in the country. We then take a stroll down the street, learning about the French colonial influence on architecture and the struggles the locals have gone through to preserve their alluring riverside homes. The short journey will end at a bustling local market, where we get the opportunity to see the daily hustle of Vietnamese women and the selling point of ancient worshiping materials. After the market, we hop on a small ferry to cross the Perfume River, where our Vespa awaits us on the other side of the river.
As we zoom past small countryside streets, we find ourselves getting further from city life. We put our hands on the brake to stop at a small workshop that produces worship materials. Next stop, we get chances to make our very own folk art print all the while sipping on some green tea. We then make our way through the vibrant rice paddies on a Vespa and to a local ancient bridge where people of all ages go to hang out, relax and enjoy the soothing river breeze. We also get the perfect opportunity to mingle around with the locals and interact with them. Afternoon, free at leisure.

Overnight in Phnom Penh. After breakfast at the hotel, we set off to visit the Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, sites that serve as grim reminders of Cambodia's bloody past under Pol Pot, a Cambodian communist revolutionary. The Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek commemorates nearly 1.7 million victims under the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime, which is almost implausible to comprehend given the present nature of this gentle land. Despite the distressing past events, it is, however, an essential piece of the country's historical and cultural puzzle. Afternoon, we continue to the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier designed it in Khmer style in 1917. A collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures, throughout the ages, has been housed by the museum. We end our day trip at the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake. We can enjoy beautiful views of the sunset over tree-lined avenues.

We walk through the Battambang town to discover its beautiful colonial architecture after our arrival and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in Battambang. After breakfast at the hotel, the village of Ksach Puoy on the banks of the Sangker River is our first stop. The village is home to many well preserved traditional Khmer wooden stilted homes. This area grows a variety of tropical fruits. Following its rainy season, all kinds of vegetables are planted along the fertile river banks by the farmers. Here we can learn about traditional agriculture. We can take the opportunity to taste juicy oranges, sweet pineapples, and many other fruits. Near Ksach Puoy lies Cambodia's first vineyard – Prasat Phnom Banan Vineyard where we can pop in to learn about how wine is produced in the tropics and enjoy wine tasting on the spot. As we travel a few kilometers further south, we arrive at a well preserved 11th-century mountaintop Angkorian temple of Phnom Banan.
